inspector found my CD. It is a Cd for my project. Those bag
inspectors in LRT got my CD... they took it. I tried to defend my
side and keep saying that those CDs were intended for a project but
they ignored me...Thus, I failed to pass my project... Well, kawawa

victim so please be warned especially kung sasakay kayo from Carriedo

I've done a little experiment this morning. I brought along some blank CD's with me and PLACED IT ON THE TOPMOST PART OF MY BAG, making sure that when i open it they would see it immediately.
They completely ignored it. This happened at MRT Magallanes Station at 8:10am this morning.
I looked around the station for any pamphlets or xerox copies of the new law regarding the confiscation of suspected pirated CD's. Nada, nilch, nothing.
Right now im searching the Net for any evidence of this rather stupid law. Under Google i tried searching using keywords such as LRT / MRT / priated CD / law and turned up with nothing.
I checked out the LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT AUTHORITY website ( [link] ) and found no trace of such law. I called up the LRTA and they themselves denied such a claim! Maricar Jara of the LRTA Public Relations Office commented that it might be the work of the PNP since they were the ones who can impose such law. They are now currently verifying with the head of the Security today.
=======
Just now, at 9:34am, Ms. Maricar Jara has just talked with Capt Danilo Florendo, Civil Security Office Chief of LRTA Line 2, and it has just been confirmed THAT THE INFORMATION REGARDING THE CONFISCATION OF CD'S IS FALSE!
If you want to check if my claim is true or not, feel free to contact Ms. Maricar Jara at Megatren Public Relations Office at +(632)647-3452 or +(632)647-3477 to 88/91 loc. 29846, 29824.
PLEASE DO NOT DISSIMINATE INFORMATION WITHOUT PROPER SOURCE BACK-UP. Do not encourage the spread of false information that will spread unnecessary anxiety among the public. PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE WITH THE INFORMATION YOU HAVE LEARNED. Part of being responsible is to send this email to the person/s who sent you the false info. Im sure they were tricked as well.
Thanks! Spread the true word.

" In displaying an artwork, you are not supposed to be there to explain the whole meaning of your concept but rather let the artwork speak for itself..."
Now we know that there is no such policy implemented by the LRTA, and instead were actions of abusive guards. Now we have a name and number to contact the LRTA when another such human rights violation occur again. Now we have a fighting chance.
Im sorry for the loss of your CDs which im sure was full of invaluable data. You may still call up LRTA to complain. Give them the all the details. That way, action can be taken, even if just a little.
What i did is not a personal attack against the persons who sent the email, but a personal attack against SPAMMING.
If Az indicated in his initial emails that he himself was victimized, i would have rallied for his defense by taking this effort to prove that no such policy exists.
I understand why he'd be pissed. But sometimes we need to be careful on how we send information nowadays. Authenticating an email makes it more believable.
Im sorry if it turned out this way, but if you read the initial emails, the only claim to its authenticity was "from a student". There was no indication that Az himself was victimized, so from all angles it looked like one of those scare SPAMS.
If from the start Az mentioned that he himself was victimized, i would have rallied to his defense by making the effort of providing proof that no such policy exists. All the time it looked like something Az got from another email. Only later on did he say he was victimized himself.
This is not a personal attack against peeps who were victimized, but a personal attack against SPAMMING. We receive countless information everyday, and we are responsible to authenticate such claims before spreading it to another person.
I indicated that the policy of confiscating CD's is FALSE. I did not say that the victims were liars, nor was that my intention.
Like what i said earlier, now we have a name and number to contact the LRTA in case this happens again. And for the victims, you may call LRTA to complain.
we have already talk to the MRT admin..and we already recovered my CD
its the works of the PNP and VRB.
MTR allowed them to do the operation. so thats why theres no law or poster about the operation
